PUBLIC NOTICE

Based on the Federal Government and Governor Wolfe’s request to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, Middleburg Borough has eliminated public access to any Borough building and will only accept your 1st quarter water/sewer payments via mail, Borough office drop box or online. In order to limit public contact, Middleburg Police Officers will only respond to emergency and life-threatening calls in person and all other calls and incidents will be handled over the phone. The Snyder County Library in the Borough building has been closed until further notice. Middleburg Borough is taking these precautionary steps to protect their employees and to help in the effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 Virus. You may still contact the Borough office by phone at (570) 837-2533 and the Police Department at (570) 837-0321. PLEASE DIAL 911 , if you are experiencing an emergency.

Middleburg Borough has declared the existence of a disaster emergency. Therefore, Middleburg Borough Council will be conducting their monthly meetings via a teleconference telephone call. Based on the capabilities of the teleconference call, the public/media will be unable to participate during the teleconference meeting. A copy of the meeting agenda will be posted to the website prior to the meeting date and the public/media may email questions to the Borough Administrator at middleburgboro@ptd.net in advance of the meeting. Meeting minutes will be made available within twenty (20) days after the meeting date.
